Weekend Video Round Up: Hysterical Lit

After a Facebook user commented on how they had lied about how happy women were during their periods, the company Bodyform released this hilarious response video. There’s farting and sass involved. It’s great.

Robin Thicke made an ass of himself when he released the overtly sexist video for his single “Blurred Lines” because he wanted to try mysogyny  for fun. Thankfully he is pretty easy to make fun of. This gender switched parody actually makes his song bearable.

Clayton Cubitt’s “Hysterical Lit” is “a viral video art series exploring mind/body dualism, distraction portraiture, and the contrast between culture and sexuality.” In other words, women are asked to read a passage from well-known literature. The catch—they can’t stop until they orgasm. Reading, made very sexual. Margaret Cho is the most recent participant.

Feminist blogger Celia Edel is back with another educational video, this time on the gender binary and why it sucks.

And here is some slamming poetry by Marty McConnell. Its as if Frida Kahlo came back from the dead to write you a love poem. Amazing.
