Aquarius

January 21st – February 18th

Aquarius2

With Mercury’s retrograde continuing into the first two weeks of the month your rational way of thinking may be silenced by impulsive actions. Be careful that this confidence doesn’t turn into cockiness. People will be mesmerized by your energy so you don’t need to shove how amazing you are in anyone’s face, everyone can already tell!

There is a full moon in Leo on February 3rd so shake out your mane and be prepared to form a new connection in terms of a partnership. Whether you meet the latest love of your life or maybe just a lifelong friend, this is the time to give up a part of yourself to someone else. Any relationship is a two-way street, Aquarius, and you have to meet people halfway.

February 18th is an important date for two reasons: one, it is the second new moon in Aquarius this year, igniting your need for independence and innovation; two, it marks the Chinese New Year. 2015 is the year of the sheep and this passive sign may not jibe with your out-of-the-box way of doing things. If anything starts to bore you in your friendships or other interactions, do something!

This date also transitions us into Pisces, a good time to nail down any loose ends in your schedule, finances and overall self-care. Be conscious of your emotions and don’t be afraid to ask yourself: ‘is this really working for me, or do I want to do something different?’

Pisces

February 19th – March 20th

Pisces2

Don’t feel overwhelmed, dear Pisces, because with the sun in Aquarius until February 18th this is the perfect time to rest and reflect. There is a lot on your mind that you’ve been having trouble coming to terms with. Just because you aren’t wearing your personal development on your sleeve doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening. Learn to draw the line when it comes to others unloading on you.

With Mercury’s retrograde until the 11th, you have been trudging up a lot of unfinished business. Remember that as long as you hold on to animosity, you are allowing the person causing it to live rent free inside your head. Forgiveness doesn’t come from the other proving themselves, it comes from you.

When the sun enters your sign on the 18th it is time to start a new chapter in your life, a new beginning. Take the time to sit quietly and listen to the world around you – you may be surprised by what you hear. Listen to your inner voice or spirit from above. It has a lot of things to tell you.

This date also marks the Chinese New Year and you are going to vibe extremely well with the down-to-earth, passive group energy of the sheep. You are compassionate by nature and now is the time to turn some of that caring attitude inward; this month you have permission to do things for YOU.

Aries

March 21st – April 19th

Aries2

Until the sun moves into Pisces on the 18th it will remain in Aquarius, encouraging networking and connections in your social sphere. You have an abundance of communicative energy so use it! Even with Mercury’s retrograde you have the ability to overcome any standstills and be the bridge between two conflicting bodies.

The full moon in Aquarius on the 3rd will add power to your voice, so don’t be afraid to take the podium. You have a lot of good, radical ideas that people need to hear. As long as you keep your intent to help genuine, there is no need to worry about overstepping boundaries.

The new moon in Aquarius on the 18th will make your team spirit shine. Still trying to make the world a better, safer place? Why not ask for help doing it, Aries, for as long as you stay true to your original vision and ideals anyone will follow along.

This date also marks the start of the Chinese year of the sheep. Though it may seem that this is comparable to your ram, the differences are apparent when it comes to action. The passive energy of the sheep may translate to passive-aggressive behavior for you and for those around you. Be as direct and concise as possible and don’t limit the flowing lines of communication that you have opened.

Though the transition into Pisces will bring you back home and cause a lot of self-reflection, look out for February 20th, for it will be one of your hottest days of the year. All eyes will be on you so use this day to pursue any type of relationship. People will want to be around you – take advantage!

Taurus

April 20th – May 20th

Taurus2

Though you should watch out for the 10th-13th, with Mercury’s retrograde in your house of career and reputation, try not to worry too much. You are a level-headed bull, and until February 18th the sun is in Aquarius, making this the perfect time to set career goals, make valuable connections, and tap into the creative energy that you feel burning inside you.

The full moon in Leo on the 3rd will not only illuminate the passion inside of you but it will also push you to think forward to let go of something from the past that you’ve been allowing to weigh you down.

The end of the month marks several transitions that may leave you confused with regards to your love life, but even more driven to take a stand with your career and aspirations. The year of the horse was hectic for you, and though you enjoyed the energy, you are ready for the passive year of the sheep.

Teamwork will also be a key theme starting at the end of the month as the sun transitions into Pisces. Watch out for passive-aggressive behavior if you try to overstep your boundaries. You are ambitious, dear Taurus, but now may be the time to take a step back and let other people assume more responsibilities.

Gemini

May 21st – June 20th

Gemini2

The bright feeling of inspiration will continue as the sun stays in Aquarius for the beginning half of this month. You have been feeling very optimistic lately, and for good reason, so don’t stop to think anything is too good to be true! If you come up with any new ideas, or want to expand into new projects or areas of work, now is the perfect time.

However, with Mercury’s retrograde (backward) movement you need to watch what you say carefully and try to speak before you think. Don’t grab a megaphone and shout your beliefs until you gather all of the information necessary to pass judgments.

Your charming words will entice others on the 3rd when the full moon in Leo brings out your passionate, impulsive side. Give into these influences – they are working in your favor. You are persuasive when you know what you want, so use this ability to drive forward either a work project or love interest. Tap into your reservoir of old partners and think about forming a new team.

February 18th marks three important events: a new moon in Aquarius, which gets rid of any communication barriers that may have been caused by Mercury’s retrograde; the Chinese New Year of the sheep, which may stifle the innovative energy you’ve been thriving off of for the past year; and the sun’s transition into Pisces, causing you to start thinking long term. Remember, blueprints aren’t the same as the final product; try not to put too much thought into the design.

Cancer

June 21st – July 22nd

Cancer2

With the sun in Aquarius for the first half of this month you’ve been feeling like retreating into your shell with a few close others. You’ve been craving a sense of security for a while and now is the time to be selective with whose support you accept. Mercury’s retrograde will cause a blast from the past to disrupt your current comfort, but don’t let this influence boil over into your new affairs.

The full moon in Leo on the 3rd will fire up your professional life, causing you to make strides towards grander career goals. The moon will affect your career again on the 18th when the new moon in Aquarius merges your future aspirations with another, and this partnership could be life-changing.

That same day marks the Chinese New Year and the transition from the hectic, blood-racing horse to the passive, down-to-earth sheep. Watch out for others who are holding onto resentment for it may come across as petty, passive-aggressive behavior. You are compassionate, as is the sheep, so cuddle up with someone special and try not to worry about much else.

The 18th will also be the day the sun transitions into Pisces, adding even more calming energy to your life. You feel inspired to learn new things and be spontaneous with your daily life. Take a trip, enroll in some extracurricular activity, and branch out! When the warm summer months come along you will be happy that you did so.

Leo

July 23rd – August 22nd

Leo2

Va-va-va-voom, Leo. If you’ve been longing to be booed up, February is your lucky month with the Sun chillin in Aquarius then Pisces—two of your most relationship-oriented sectors. Get ready to be part of a dynamic-ass duo babe, whether it be a professional partnership, a new bffl pairing, or a sexy romance. Most of your focus this month will be on interpersonal matters. However, the full moon will be one day where the focus will all be on you with Jupiter, your ruling planet of luck, in your corner. This will be your best full moon of the year (the only one in your sign). So don’t fuck it up. Really this is your one moon—it’s a big deal. But don’t let your head get too big. It’s about you, yes. But remember there are limits to the attractiveness of ego.

The new moon of the 18th could have you craving some straight up Walden-style solitude. Get out of the limelight and get a head start on your taxes or something, idk.

Virgo

August 23rd – September 22nd

Virgo2

Damn, Virgo. Since the beginning of January you’ve been asking yourself: can you write my lists, lists, lists (to the tune of “Bills, Bills, Bills” by Destiny’s Child). You’ve got lists on lists. To do lists, to not do lists, etc. And the answer is yeah, you should stay on that list grind. But on the bright side, this is your ruler Mercury’s last full week in retrograde, so that’s chill.  Your lists are about to get riiiight. Don’t be afraid to ride that wave.

Also with retrograde—my personal new excuse for any and everything—nearing its end, it could be time for you to finally say goodbye to something. For good. Like for real for real. Let it go. This Leo full moon of the 3rd and the light of its shadow in the following week or so will bring you the uniqueness, realness, and charm to surrender this source of frustration for once and for all, and start healing babe. Cause, to quote Rupaul, yet again: if you don’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else. That’s the real vibe. Don’t be afraid to spend the next few weeks wrapped up in your work, sometimes distractions can be healthy when you’re trying to move along. (And the lists could definitely help with this!)

Start of the new moon of the 18th with—that’s right U GUESSED IT: more lists! The moon will be grooving into your of organization and by this time you should be a pro at list-making. Add that skill to your LinkedIn profile. And if you don’t have a LinkedIn profile, consider making one. Little known fact: but it’s great for creeping on people. On the same day, the Sun moves into Pisces, your seventh house of partnerships and that will also be chill af. Get ready for a powerful meeting of the minds.

Libra

September 23rd – October 22nd

Libra2Libra—you are truly S*L*A*Y*I*N*G this month. Absolutely slaying it! Like damn. And I’m not just saying that because I’m a Libra. For real, these stars are werking for you. Enjoy it. Revel in it. Roll around naked in it. Get jiggy with it. Mars and lover Venus are angled together for the better part of this month. And that spells amazing fortunate and good vibes all around for you. In the first two weeks of this month, look forward to a long-anticipated wish come true. Like, I know, damn, amazing, right?! Whether it be a material good or some token of spiritual wellbeing, something you’ve wanted 5ever is about to come to you in the light of the full moon. V-Day is gonna be chill af for you. Amazing. Your best weekend will be the 21st-22nd with Venus and Mars finally joining paths—this will fire up your committed partnership sector. Seriously, this month is looking to be an amazing one for Libras. I know this is short, but there’s basically nothing else to say: February is sure to be wonderful to you. The stars and planets are aligning. Simple as that.

Scorpio

October 23rd – November 22nd

Scorpio2

Nest up, Scorpio. You may be looking for some tender lovin n’ care nowadays. So… um…like…give yourself that. It’s all about that self-care, for real though. This doesn’t have to mean playing hookie and taking an impromptu spa trip. I mean, if you wanna/can afford to do that, that’s chill. But sometimes self-care can be intimately linked with caring for others you love as well. The yin and yang energy of the Sun in Aquarius, your house of domesticity and family, could be suggesting this for you for the better part of this month. Taking care of yourself is paramount, but sometimes the best way to do that is to take care of those people you love. Seeing them healthy and happy can be so important in your personal health and happiness. Think about it. But also, self-care is not a monolith: so if you’re feeling yourself and want to focus on you and only you, do it. (Did that make any sense??)

You’ll be on your #tbt insta game this month with the Sun giving you a healthy dose of yearning for nostalgia.

V-Day could be hit or miss, but never fear. If you’re looking for a boo, the date ain’t nothing but a number. The new moon of the 18th moves the Sun into Pisces, your house of lust, love, and passion. Cupid may come a few days later, but it’s chill, phe is on phe’s way. The new moon will also bring a peaceful end to any lingering retrograde-enhanced disputes.

Oh yeah and b-t-w: just as the sun moves into your joie de vivre sector, Mars will also be lighting up your house of T*R*U*E L*O*V*E ! Yeah, so that’s a thing.

Sagittarius

November 23rd to December 22nd

Sagittarius2

Ok so you’re reaaaaally gonna be feeling yourself this month, Sag! You are seemingly unstoppable. The Sun is really getting down to get down with you, so boogie-woogie boo. (That meant nothing). But yeah, the Sun… lighting up your communication sector…you’ll talk a lot…people will probably listen to you. You’re chillin. Use that and go get it. Whatever it is. Go and get it. Got it?

While you’ll be on point with communicating irl, you should watch out and be careful what you post while interwebbing. Retrograde could fuck that up. Seriously no one has time for the next epic facebook // twitter war right now.

By the middle of the month, your horoscope starts to sound like B-list romcom. The full moon is suggesting travel in the near future. And with Uranus in your sector of joie de vivre, you could fall hard and fast for someone you encounter during your travels. Take that for what you will. And if it doesn’t pan out this way, the Sun and Uranus got your back regardless. I know I say this a lot: But Sagittarius, you are chillin this month. Like really though.

Capricorn

December 23rd – January 20th

Capricorn2

Busy, busy, busy, Capricorn. This month your skills and company are in high demand. Keeping yourself organized will require extra attention, but you got it. But it definitely won’t be all work no play for you. The full moon of the 3rd and its shadow is hitting your house of intimate relationships real hard—bringing a heaping revival of spirituality and also illuminating the missing link // piece of information in a lingering relationship or dilemma. Uranus swoops in around the same time to open your heart. So while your working life seems to be moving double speed, you’ll still manage to find the solo time for spiritual healthcare.  Basically, you’re unstoppable.

The approaching new moon of the 18th will bring new energy along with some form of much needed security and some extra pocket change—which is always rad. Get to zine-ing! The energy from this new moon will be perfect for starting new projects.
