I can’t grow a new heart but I can let you know what you’ve done to me
the way a snake gulps up its prey.
my milk has drowned armies
my tongue is the hungry fire beneath joan of arc’s feet
I don’t live for credit in the straight world I live for
the look in your eyes
before I decide what to do with you
you questioned my soft lips and now,
now they will have ruined your hard bones
you cannot devour me
woman is the savage of the world
repeat this three times to yourself so I don’t have to
waste my time doing it for you.
Am I too tough to chew through? Good.
