#InSolidarityWithMizzou #ConcernedStudent1950

Protests against institutional racism have been breaking out on college campuses across the country. These protests, largely organized and led by Black women, represent growing frustration with the lack of critical racial and social consciousness in higher education. Instead of asking your friends of color about to educate you, read the list of links below! As one of our staff, Nikkie Ubinas, has said, “Through [pursuing self-education], you are proactively engaging in racial justice work, as it is not the job of people of color to teach their own humanity to their white peers.”

We remember the words of Zora Neale Hurston: “If you are silent about your pain, they’ll kill you and say you enjoyed it.”
